But Eclipse is, IMHO, pretty good and the price is certainly right.<br /><br />A nice thing about Eclipse is that it can be used for more than Java. There's a project to produce an <A HREF="http://www.blogger.com/r?http%3A%2F%2Fwww.eclipse.org%2Fcdt%2F">Eclipse-based C/C++ IDE</A> and IBM have just announced an <A HREF="http://www.blogger.com/r?http%3A%2F%2Fwww.alphaworks.ibm.com%2Ftech%2Fide4laszlo%3Fopen%26S_TACT%3D104AHW61%26S_CMP%3DGR%26ca%3Ddgr-mw02awide4laszlo">IDE for Laszlo</A> based on Eclipse. After using ...Eclipse is our IDE of choice at work. After using it for more than a year, I can say that I find it to be a huge productivity enhancer.
