The Powerset Blogstorm

Can anyone beat Google? Well, the natural language processing community is having a go at it. I got back from 2 weeks of vacation to discover that an old friend and mentor from grad school days is now at startup Powerset, co-founded by Barney Pell, whom I knew as a grad student in Cambridge years before. There've been a rash of articles in the blogosphere about their announcements, as Barney summarises:

Yet more evidence that startups are back and interesting again! And this time they want UX people earlier rather than later, which is a nice change for the industry.
